Jessica Williams, LCSW-C

Experienced Psychotherapist & Clinical Supervisor in Maryland

Preferred Pronouns:  She, her, hers  My clients seek to create new ways of handling their feelings, thoughts, and memories that are distressing. Goals include moving past being “stuck” or procrastinating or identifying triggers that cause us pain. We will work on goals that are yours, so that you can feel more confident as the expert in your own life.  I enjoy working with clients who may be unsure about starting in therapy, and need space to explore the idea.  Some of my specialties include individuals who are experiencing work stress, work-life balance issues, burnout, compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, procrastination and anxiety.

My Education

I graduated from Hood College with my BSW in 2006, and from University of Maryland – Baltimore with my MSW in 2008. I have practiced social work for over 13 years, primarily working with children and families who have experienced or who have been at risk for child abuse, neglect, and intimate partner violence. Additionally, I enjoy serving as a registered Supervisor for the State of Maryland Social Work Board.
