Experienced Counselor & Supervisor in Maryland

Striving to make changes can be a difficult struggle, including the decision to start therapy. I am motivated by my passion to help others create those positive changes. I believe that it is a privilege to be in this field. It is a philosophy of mine to be transparent about therapy and use evidenced based practices. Another area of importance is a focus on overall mental wellbeing. I draw techniques from several various backgrounds including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).  Throughout my career, I’ve had extensive experience working with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and life transitions.

My Education

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). I obtained my master’s degree in clinical counseling from Bellevue University. For more than a decade, I have been heavily engaged in the field of mental health, with a majority of that being in individual therapy. I have worked in a variety of settings including inpatient units and behavioral health clinics, in addition to having experience with a plethora of various mental health diagnoses.  I am also a Board Approved Supervisor and provide clinical supervision for those seeking licensure.
