Experienced Counselor & Art Therapist in Maryland

I am a Maryland licensed and board-certified art therapist and professional counselor. Art Therapy is a combination of talk and art-making used to build self-awareness and process experiences and feelings. I use a combination of art, books, games and conversation to guide children, adolescents and their families towards their goals. I aim to make therapy an engaging and child-centered experience.

I am passionate about helping children, adolescents and families through art therapy because of the impact of art-making on my life and wellness. In my practice, I aim to offer a glimpse of hope for families that are struggling and help guide them towards practices and patterns that bring light to their lives.

My Education

Maralee holds independent clinical licensure in Maryland as a Licensed  Professional Counselor (LCPC).
