Looking to use insurance or self-pay for therapy and medication management in Maryland?  Silver Psychotherapy accepts CareFirst, Cigna, United, Aetna, and Kaiser. We also offer self-pay and provide Good Faith Estimates. If you’re out of network, we’ll supply monthly superbills to help you request reimbursement. 

 

 

 

Self Pay

We currently take cash, check, HSA and credit cards (Visa, Master card, Discover).  All payments are due at the time of service.  All self-pay Clients will receive a Good Faith Estimate of the potential costs associated with treatment.

Insurance Plans

We accept the following insurance plans:

  • United Healthcare/United Behavioral

Out of Network

For out of network clients a superbill is provided each month for submission to your insurance.

When calling your insurance, use our Benefit checklist:

Call the number on your card.

Ask about outpatient mental/behavioral health benefits.

Confirm copay/coinsurance, deductible, and OON benefits.

Ask if telehealth is covered and if pre-authorization is required.

Ask if an authorization is needed prior to services.  

Write down the reference number for the call.
