When you call in, you will speak to one of our admin staff who will gather basic information from you and schedule you with a face-to-face appointment. If you prefer to speak directly with your clinician prior to your initial appointment, please let us know. You will receive an email with directions on signing the electronic intake forms. All electronic forms will need to be completed prior to the initial appointment, which typically lasts 90min.

Towards the end of the first face-to-face session, a treatment plan will be discussed and agreed upon by the client and the therapist.

Our Philosophy
Silver Psychotherapy provides quality mental health treatment, using evidenced-based practices to inspire lasting change. We have a holistic mind, body, spirit approach to treatment, often using brain/body-based interventions. The decision to seek therapy usually stems from a stressor that feels overwhelming. We are honored to sit with you as you explore new ways to cope with life stressors. We bring to the therapeutic process our decades of experience as clinicians; but also our life experiences as spouses, parents, siblings, and friends. The therapeutic process starts with building trust in one another and tailoring the treatment to the individual’s goals. Throughout the process, we will utilize various treatment modalities to inspire hope for a brighter future. Confidentiality
People often seek help for private issues, and Silver Psychotherapy respects your rights to confidentiality. Often times clients will choose to be self-pay rather than utilize their job related insurance carrier, in fear of jeopardizing a security clearance. These issues can be discussed during your initial intake appointment, and during your free phone consultation. We are compliant with all HIPAA regulations; all correspondence with outside providers will require a signed release of information from the client.
