Whether you are a parent whose child is struggling, or you are that person who is struggling, we all struggle at some point! I want to help you understand and effectively manage the challenges you are dealt and encounter.

My career and personal experiences allow me to better understand children in their school and home settings. With knowledge and experience working with 504s and IEPs, as well as a willingness to work directly with school personnel, I can offer a bridge to helping children succeed where they are currently struggling. Using an eclectic approach with an emphasis on CBT, DBT, and solution-based strategies, I help children feel seen, heard, and understood and teach them skills to better communicate and manage their emotions. I help parents understand how their child’s diagnosis, its impact, and strategies to manage it.

My Education

Mandi holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Education from McDaniel College and a BA in Integrated Childhood Theories, Elementary Education from Washington College, Chestertown, MD.  She is trained in art and play therapies and has always has a passion to work with young people.
