Caroline Carey, LCPC

Experienced Clinician in Maryland

Preferred Pronouns:  She/her/hers

Life can quickly become overwhelming, often leaving us emotionally depleted and unable to cope effectively. In that state of mind, we can lose objectivity and compassion towards ourselves. My goal is to offer a safe place for you to express your feelings, and work together to promote self-exploration, identify damaging thoughts, implement coping strategies, and develop existing strengths for a healthier, happier you.

My Education

While I enjoy working with clients from a wide range of ages and backgrounds, I specialize in treating young women who are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationships, and life transitions.

Caroline received a Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Hood College. In my therapeutic practice, I apply a number of different treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Attachment-Based Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, as well as Mindfulness and Self-Compassion practices.
