Experienced Clinician in Maryland

Pronouns:  She/Her

Whether it’s your first time or you’ve been in therapy before, I’m glad you’re here! My hope is to create a safe, encouraging and oftentimes silly and sarcastic environment to partner with you in the next step of your story. I’m a licensed certified social worker – clinical and a psychotherapist. My time working as a psychotherapist in schools and the surrounding community has led me to become passionate in addressing and advocating for a person’s needs and strengths. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults to address a wide variety of concerns including trauma, life transitions, anxiety and depression.

My background working with diverse populations including the Latinx and LGBTQIA+ communities has allowed me to see the importance in affirming one’s individual identity. I am currently working towards training for Somatic Experiencing. My therapeutic approach centers around the idea that everyone deserves to feel empowered and heard.

My Education

I attended Messiah University and University of MD, Baltimore for my Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work.  I continue to grow and develop my clinical skills through continuing education.  Most recently, I completed the Somatic Experiencing Beginning II, which focuses on the body’s response to trauma.  I worked in various settings including therapy in schools, homes and the community (3 years).  In 2022, I left community practice and switched over to private practice focusing on trauma therapy, experience with Latinx and POC populations, LGBTQIA+.
