Masters Social Work Intern

I’m passionate about supporting children, teens, and adults through life’s challenges. Starting therapy is a brave and empowering step, and I’m honored to walk alongside you on your path to healing and growth.

I provide a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe, heard, and supported. My approach is rooted in empathy, compassion, and unconditional positive regard—whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, or life transitions. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to guide and support you with care and insight.

With experience working with individuals and families in the Frederick community, I’m continually inspired by the resilience my clients bring to the therapeutic process. If you’re looking for a therapist in Frederick, MD who values authenticity, connection, and collaboration, I’d be honored to work with you.

My Education

Kate graduated from Marist College in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She then completed a one-year postbaccalaureate premedical program at Goucher College with plans to attend medical school. During her time at Goucher, she realized her true passion lies in working directly with people and helping them feel at ease in challenging or uncomfortable environments. This led her to shift paths and begin working in the mental health field, where she gained valuable clinical and case management experience through roles in non-profit organizations. She is currently in her final year of graduate studies at the University of Maryland School of Social Work and will receive her MSW in July 2025.
