Rebecca Esko, LCSW-C

She/Her

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

I work with teens (17+), young adults, and adults who are navigating life transitions, stress, and emotional challenges. Whether you’re starting college, exploring your independence, going through a relationship shift, or adjusting to changes in your health or career, therapy can offer the support and clarity you need to move forward.

At Silver Psychotherapy in Maryland, my approach combines traditional talk therapy with mind-body techniques to help clients connect more deeply with themselves. We will focus on building a strong, collaborative relationship where you feel heard and supported. Together, we work on identifying patterns that no longer serve you and developing healthier ways of responding to emotions, relationships, and everyday stress.

Clients often leave treatment having built practical tools for emotional regulation, communication, and self-awareness—skills that support lasting change in both personal and professional life.  Using an eclectic approach, I often use Mindfulness Based CBT, as well as meditation.

If you’re looking for a therapist in Maryland who offers grounded, personalized care with a focus on growth and self-understanding, I’d be honored to work with you.

My Education

Rebecca brings a rich blend of traditional clinical training and holistic practices to her work as a psychotherapist. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Religion and a Master of Social Work, and has completed specialized certifications in Early Childhood Mental Health and Trauma Therapy. Her education is grounded in understanding both the emotional and developmental needs of individuals across the lifespan.

In addition to her clinical credentials, Rebecca has pursued extensive holistic education, including a 200-hour Kripalu Yoga Teacher Training, Adaptive Yoga & Pranayama training, and multiple rounds of Compassion Cultivation Training. These practices inform her integrative, mind-body approach to therapy.

Rebecca has over 10 years of experience providing psychotherapy to children, teens, and adults, and over 6 years supporting adults with psychiatric illnesses in employment and community settings. She also draws on her lived experience as a parent and over 20 years of community engagement through farmer’s markets, which deeply influence her grounding, relational style.
