Caroline Anderson, MSN, CRNP-PMH

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

All of us have moments in our lives when emotions related to life transitions, loss, trauma and fear can feel like too much to bear. Sometimes we make progress through therapy and other lifestyle changes, and sometimes those things are not quite enough. If you are anxious or reluctant about starting a medication for your mental health, you are not alone. I am here to listen and take the time that is necessary to determine how medications may fit into your journey of healing. As a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMHP), I also explore holistic interventions including nutrition, evidence-based use of supplements, and movement with you. I work with  adolescents and adults struggling with mood disorders and anxiety. I provide an open, down-to-earth, and sometimes even lighthearted approach to our sessions- and meet you where you are.

I have special interests and advanced training in integrative mental health and women’s mental health throughout the lifespan- including adolescence, young adulthood, the perinatal period (including perinatal loss/grief and infertility) and menopause. Many women report that they find themselves in circumstances when their physical or mental health symptoms were dismissed, misdiagnosed, under treated, or not treated at all. I am passionate about working with women who were discouraged by these experiences. Throughout my nursing career, I supported clients who feel like they are not being heard. It is my honor to continue to be that voice for all of my patients and to hold space to truly listen and explore all of your concerns.
