Andrew Bodine, LCPC, CACGS

Experienced Counselor in Maryland

Life is something to be enjoyed. Sometimes obstacles, stress, and pain rob us of our joy. If your daily goal is to simply “get by” or “to survive until tomorrow”- I want to help you overcome these obstacles. Throughout your therapy process, I will give you tools that challenge your perspective of yourself and the world around you. Helping you to live a happier life through self-acceptance and compassion; allows us to make deeper connections with others, and the ability to enjoy all that life has to offer.

My Education

Andrew holds independent clinical licensure in Maryland as a Licensed  Professional Counselor (LCPC).  He received his Master’s degree in clinical counseling with a certificate in Death and Dying from Hood College. While utilizing a variety of clinical techniques, Andrew draws on extensive experience treating those across the lifespan. Prior to receiving his Master’s degree, Andrew provided individual and group treatment to children and adults. He has wide-ranging experience working with dual diagnosis clients within residential settings and a PRP counselor (Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program) with families whose children ranged from ages 5 to 18 with various diagnoses. Although he enjoys working with a variety of clients, Andrew’s focus is working with clients who experience trauma, grief and end of life stages.  Andrew is trained in Brainspotting therapy and has an additional certification in grief work.
