Jonathan Adamson, LMSW

He/Him

Licensed Master of Social Work

Are you feeling overwhelmed by life’s challenges? You don’t have to face them alone. I offer outpatient counseling for teens and adults in a warm, supportive space. Together, we’ll explore what you’re going through and build a path toward healing and resilience.

My approach is humanistic and person-centered. I blend practical psychology with thoughtful reflection on the worries many people carry today. To support change, we’ll use evidence-based cognitive-behavioral tools and the power of personal stories. As a result, you can shift unhelpful patterns, strengthen coping skills, and feel more like yourself again.

Whether you’re a teen looking for guidance or an adult navigating a transition, I’ll meet you where you are. If you’re ready, reach out today to take the next step.

My Education

Jonathan originally persued a passion for people’s stories by receiving his B.A. in Media & Film Studies at Brigham Young University.  He continued to work in the documentary film industry and found that he wanted to be able to dig in deeper to the “why” and “what” behind an individuals narrative.  So, he returned to graduate school at the University of Maryland- Baltimore where he is scheduled to complete his degree in Masters of Clinical Social Work in 7/2024.   During his graduate education he enjoyed working with youth and young adults both in the school and private practice settings.
