Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Seeking support for your mental health is a brave and powerful step. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner and family nurse practitioner, I provide care that looks at the whole person—mind, body, and lifestyle—not just symptoms. My approach combines medical knowledge with compassionate listening to create treatment plans that promote lasting wellness.

I work with individuals across the lifespan, offering psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and holistic mental health support for conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. Because physical health and mental health are deeply connected, I integrate my background in family medicine to help clients understand how sleep, nutrition, stress, and overall health impact their mental well-being.

Every person’s journey is unique, and I am committed to creating a supportive space where you feel safe, respected, and truly heard. Whether you are searching for a psychiatric nurse practitioner, looking for integrative telepsychiatry services, or want a provider who values both mental and physical health, you have come to the right place.

Together, we will build a plan that nurtures your whole self—so you can move forward with balance, confidence, and hope.

She earned her Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health from Liberty University in 2024, following her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from a collaborative program between George Mason University and George Washington School of Medicine in 1995. Her foundational nursing education includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Cum Laude) from George Mason University (1991) and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Marymount University (1989).

Linda has an extensive background in both medical and psychiatric care across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. She previously served as a medical consultant for an inpatient psychiatric unit, collaborating with psychiatrists on complex medication and medical management.

Her prior roles include nearly a decade with INOVA’s Emergency Medicine Associates and Hospitalist Program, where she managed acute care cases, led code responses, and supervised advanced practice teams. She also spent years in primary care at Loudoun Medical Group and Rock Run Family Practice, delivering comprehensive family health services.

Licensed in Virginia, Maryland, and West Virginia, Linda blends her medical and psychiatric expertise to offer compassionate, evidence-based care to a broad patient population.  In my time away from the office, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors in her garden, hiking and exploring the national parks. Travel, local, nationally or international is also another pleasure.
